Rimadesio, the Italian company specialising in high-tech furniture design, continues its unstoppable growth.
After having closed 2018 in record territory (revenues exceeded 61.5 million euros and net profit increased by 52% compared to the previous year), this company led by Davide and Luigi Malberti ended the first quarter of 2019 with a 10% increase in turnover compared to the same period last year.
Key here is innovation in production processes, a fundamental asset of Rimadesio development strategy.
The new Rimadesio collection, presented as a world premiere at Salone del Mobile in Milan, includes a set of coordinated solutions ranging from the domestic to the contract sector and from commercial spaces to offices. Cases in point are the Spazio wall-partition system and Modulor wall-panelling program that can be formatted into endless compositional possibilities, which will officially go into production from January 2020.
The range of materials and finishes has also been enriched. In addition to glass and aluminium, the- distinctive elements of the Rimadesio brand, are porcelain gres, Crystal Brown marble, Sahara walnut wood – with a wavy effect – and an exclusive synthetic leather in four finishes (castoro, argilla, nube and rubens), made in Italy and animal component-free.
Rimadesio international distribution share has reached 62%; an escalating figure supported by the increasingly strategic role of mono-brand stores – exclusive shops that perfectly embody the technical and stylistic qualities of the brand.
Within 2019, in order to further consolidate its position in the global market, the company is inaugurating new mono-brand stores in Miami, Denver, Moscow, Valencia, Vigo, Hamburg and Nice. Plus Sydney, Seoul and Bangalore.
Rimadesio is represented in South Africa by DOMUM in Cape Town and Johannesburg
